Distance: The trail is 1 1/4 mile from top to bottom.
Elevation Gain: Trail is flat to moderately steep. You’ll lose 425 feet in elevation on the way down.
Season: Year-round
Directions: From Seattle take I-5 north to Exit 183. Turn left at the exit and go west (left) on 164th St. SW, which curves into 168th St. SW Turn right onto Hwy 99 , then left on 164th St. SW. Turn right onto 52nd Ave. W, then left onto 160th St. SW. Turn right onto 56th Ave. W and then left on 156th St. SW. The park is at the end of the road.
Description: The trail travels through Lund’s Gulch, where there are some large trees and a creek. It ends at a lovely beach on Puget Sound. There are a few benches to rest along the way. Note: Occasionally the pedestrian tunnel to the beach is closed, with no detour. Check current access on the Snohomish County Parks website.
